Laurie’s art studio is a unique film location, photo studio, and event venue in Lincoln Heights.
The Main Space
ALCHEMY TUNNEL - an immersive installation of original hand-made artwork
Custom painted and laminated floor with a rubber padding underneath. Mixed media textile paintings drape from one wall, over the ceiling and down the opposite wall. Glistening fabrics piece together the large paintings. Handmade lighting fixtures look like hanging orbs - all equipped with LIFX smart bulbs. Artful meditation pillows add to the tranquil environment.

The Entrance
An Immersive Installation / Kitchen / Makeup Area / Private Bathroom
The ground level welcomes you with a 180 sq foot immersive art installation, bathroom, kitchen and makeup area. Orb lights are at eye level here, creating a more intimate space for photos, or a great space to “wow” visitors into a dream world. A laminated, mixed media floor surrounded by original textile paintings. The adjacent kitchen and makeup area allows space to lay out food or costume changes. Private bathroom with shower.
